Starbucks was affected by the Microsoft Outage today. Windows computers for businesses were affected. Some Starbucks stores could not even get their registers to work so they closed the stores.
Other stores could not receive mobile orders and had to go by looking at mobile receipts on customer phones.
Businesses are far too dependent on computers running Windows.

Microsoft and Starbucks have been joined at the hip forever. Also as we now know this was not a Microsoft issue. It was a 3rd party security vendor.
