Re: Taco Bell Chicken Nuggets
I tried the 5 piece nugget combo with a large drink, and Nacho Fries for $5.99. I was surprised. The nuggets were decently flavorful and thick. The crunchy shell was very nice. I like these much better than McDonald's.

Re: Taco Bell Chicken Nuggets
I waited 30 minutes in a huge drive thru line for nuggets today. When I got to the speaker, they said they were out of nuggets.
They said I could get anything on the menu. There really was nothing worth it on the menu. I felt ripped off.
Taco Bell cannot keep up with demand and their app doesn't even tell customers when items are sold out.

The manager can go into manager functions on the POS and go into mobile ordering and disable unavailable items (this will also disable on the kiosk inside).Alpha8472 wrote: ↑December 23rd, 2024, 8:42 pm I waited 30 minutes in an huge drive thru line for nuggets today. Whoever was there may not have had the elevated permission to do that or didn't know how.

Re: Taco Bell Chicken Nuggets
Never got to try these. That was quick. Locations will probably have some left for a few days.

Re: Taco Bell Chicken Nuggets
Being in a more rural place, the nuggets were still available on New Year's Eve. However, all the sauce cups were gone. So they offered me a variety of their regular stuff. This store's shift lead was actually a great employee, who clearly cared about his staff, Doordash orders, and customers in the dining area.
The nugget itself was a bit like KFC's current offering with different flavoring to the breading. It was whole meat white chicken, not a pressed product. Value decreased quickly, but I felt $3.99 was fair for six with a sauce cup. I opted for chipotle, which seemed to be a spicy ranch-like substance. Honestly, I didn't really want to eat the whole portion though there was nothing wrong with it.

Re: Taco Bell Chicken Nuggets
I was watching Monday Night Football (December 30) and it seemed 1/2 of the ads were for these nuggets.
Crazy that they would market it so heavily and then discontinue it the next day.

Re: Taco Bell Chicken Nuggets
I went to a brand-new Taco Bell that opened two days after Christmas and the nuggets were on the digital menu. I didn't buy them, but it seems odd to have a new store have them on the menu and not stock them, or stock them just to discontinue them in a week.

Re: Taco Bell Chicken Nuggets
They had them yesterday. Potentially good product but not well executed. Some pieces I would describe as "round nuggets" that were a good size, but on a ten piece order there were 3. The other 7 or so were more "pill shaped" pieces half the size and the chicken inside the breading was overdone from the frying process so it was dried out and tough/chewy. 3 good pieces that would be a quality product, but the 7 or so (they might have thrown in two extra pieces) small ones were not good and it would take 3 of them to match the meat in one "round" nugget. Ordered the new fire ranch and got "bell sauce" instead. And the nacho fries were obviously not fried to order like they used to be and came in a tiny cone like I would expect for a kids meal.
