In years past, they carried make summer furniture but this year they were using the space for weekly ad items (like the regular 10/$10). But they still converted the space into Thanksgiving so I was surprised.

Ironically, I thought they were behind on Fall. Usually pumpkins etc. make it into the store by late August but they just got them in last week. My local Albertsons don’t carry near the Halloween merchandise they once did; though. The UCI location is loaded with it. But Albertsons hasn’t had the paper towels, napkins, etc. that they stocked for many years. Was a cheap way to be festive!

What did surprise me is that they’re slowly rolling out Christmas items. I’ve seen ice cream and others…
I bought Egg Nog S.S. ice cream bars last week just to try them. $1.49 with $1/1 digital store coupon through today.

Never seen a location having fully built out multiple Thanksgiving displays more than two months prior to the holiday.

They've already sold almost an entire box worth of 2lb Signature Brown Sugar (price: 4.99- same thing is 2.49 over at Smiths in Kroger brand) and it was obvious that they'd sold a few pieces of various other items on the largest display as well. Everything is FULL price (highest prices I've ever seen).

If the stuff will sell why not put the display up?
A lot of the items already have digitial store coupons. I rarely see displays with correct prices.

Those egg nog ones are good. At least they are actual "ice cream sandwiches." The Kroger product is now "frozen dairy dessert" sandwiches and not good (even the Big Wheels). Better than the pumpkin ones. They were still getting rid of last year's pumpkin ones in NorCal back in May. They were also coming out at 1.49 after the 50% off sticker got scanned.
