I don't remember anything looking like that in the 1980's but I will say it looks terrible. It's just a jumbled mess thrown together with no theme or color coordination. Hopefully they dump this prototype ASAP.

Big looking store there. It's an old Zody's (which were in the 70K-100K size range. They were called The Giant when Ralphs bought them and then eventually changed to Food4Less.
